Refer & Earn Terms

The BizGuru Refer & Earn Program allows eligible participants to earn commissions by referring new customers to BizGuru.

BizGuru is a product operated by Marci House.

By participating in the Refer & Earn Program, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

Individuals who meet the requirements of the BizGuru Refer & Earn Program may participate, subject to approval by Marci House.

Marci House may decline or remove participants where there is evidence of fraud, abuse, misleading marketing, or violation of these Terms.

2. Referral Commission

The current referral commission is:

Earn 7% on every qualifying BizGuru subscription you refer. That's ₦7,000 for a qualifying ₦100,000 annual subscription.

At the current BizGuru annual subscription price of ₦100,000:

7% = ₦7,000

Therefore, a qualifying customer who purchases the ₦100,000 annual BizGuru subscription generates a standard referral commission of ₦7,000.

Commission rates may be changed by Marci House for future referrals. Applicable changes will be communicated through the Refer & Earn Program.

3. What Counts as a Successful Referral

A referral qualifies when:

1. The referred customer is genuinely new to BizGuru.
2. The customer can reasonably be attributed to the referring participant.
3. The customer completes the required onboarding process.
4. The customer successfully pays for an eligible BizGuru subscription.
5. The transaction is not refunded, reversed, fraudulent, or otherwise invalidated.

4. Existing Customers

Participants may not claim referral commissions for:

• Their own BizGuru account.
• Existing BizGuru customers.
• Previously registered customers or prospects where the referral cannot reasonably be established.
• Accounts created primarily to generate referral commissions.

5. Self-Referrals

Self-referrals are prohibited.

Participants may not use another person's identity, account, business, phone number, payment method, or other information to create an artificial referral.

6. Fraud and Abuse

The following may result in cancellation of commissions and removal from the Refer & Earn Program:

• Fake accounts.
• Fake customers.
• Duplicate accounts.
• Self-referrals.
• Manipulation of referral attribution.
• Misleading advertising.
• False claims about BizGuru.
• Spam.
• Unauthorized use of BizGuru branding.
• Misrepresentation of BizGuru pricing or features.
• Any attempt to generate commissions dishonestly.

7. Referral Attribution

Referral attribution will be determined using the referral mechanism provided by Marci House.

Where attribution is unclear, Marci House may review the circumstances and make a reasonable determination.

A participant should not assume that a referral will qualify simply because a prospect mentions the participant's name.

8. Commission Approval

Referral commissions are subject to verification.

A commission may remain pending until Marci House confirms that:

• The referred customer is genuinely new.
• The qualifying payment has been successfully received.
• The transaction is valid.
• The referral has not violated these Terms.

9. Refunds and Payment Reversals

If a qualifying customer receives a refund, reverses a payment, or the transaction is otherwise cancelled or invalidated before commission payment, the associated commission may be cancelled.

If a commission has already been paid and the underlying transaction is subsequently reversed because of a refund, fraud, chargeback, or other invalidation, Marci House may offset the amount against future commissions where legally permitted.

10. Commission Payment

Approved commissions will be paid according to the payment schedule communicated by Marci House.

Participants must provide accurate payment information required to process commission payments.

Marci House may require reasonable identity or account verification before paying commissions.

11. Tax Responsibility

Participants are responsible for complying with any tax obligations applicable to their referral income.

Participation in the Refer & Earn Program does not make Marci House responsible for a participant's personal tax obligations.

12. Marketing Rules

Participants must represent BizGuru honestly and accurately.

Participants must not:

• Guarantee results.
• Make false claims.
• Misrepresent BizGuru pricing.
• Claim to be Marci House.
• Claim to be an employee of Marci House unless they actually are.
• Promise features that BizGuru does not provide.
• Make misleading statements about BizGuru.
• Use deceptive advertising.
• Use spam or unlawful marketing practices.

13. BizGuru Branding

Participants may use approved BizGuru marketing materials supplied by Marci House.

Participants must not modify BizGuru branding in a misleading manner or use BizGuru branding in a way that suggests the participant owns or operates BizGuru.

14. No Employment Relationship

Participation in the Refer & Earn Program does not create an employment, partnership, agency, franchise, or joint-venture relationship between the participant and Marci House.

Participants act independently.

15. Termination

Marci House may terminate a participant's participation if the participant:

• Violates these Terms.
• Engages in fraud or abuse.
• Misrepresents BizGuru.
• Uses prohibited marketing practices.
• Attempts to manipulate the referral system.
• Engages in conduct that may materially harm BizGuru or Marci House.

Approved commissions legitimately earned before termination will be handled according to the applicable program terms, subject to verification and any lawful adjustments.

16. Program Changes

Marci House may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Refer & Earn Program.

Changes may include:

• Commission rates.
• Payment schedules.
• Eligibility requirements.
• Referral attribution rules.
• Program structure.

Changes will be communicated through appropriate channels.

17. Limitation of Liability

Marci House is not responsible for referral opportunities, commissions, or payments lost due to circumstances outside its reasonable control, including technical failures, inaccurate information supplied by participants, third-party service interruptions, or fraudulent activity.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to applicable mandatory rights and protections.
